Today is the 60th anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb 'Little Boy' on the Japanese town of Hiroshima. I actually had no idea until I saw a documentary on it, though I do know that the bomb was dropped somewhere around August 1945, which is probably a lot closer than you'll get if you ask any average American. Even less known about the topic is that Nagasaki was actually the secondary target for the atomic bomb 'Fat Man' (primary target was Kokura).
Oh yeah, and Christy is finally back on the island, so yay! :D
